Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:17 PM Tuesday to Palatine Road and Kennnicott Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that one person was injured in a crash on eastbound Palatine express lanes east of Kennicott Avenue.
Police on the scene reported the driver cannot open his car door. Firefighters responding upgraded the response to an accident with entrapment.
A Mazda sedan careened off into a ditch at the southeast corner of Palatine Road and Kennicott Avenue.
The male driver of the Mazda sedan was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
