East Dundee police and firefighter/paramedics responded on Friday to a suspicious death discovered in the block of 100 Aldis Avenue East Dundee, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that the only resident that lives in the home on Aldis Drive was found dead.
Kane County Coroner Rob Russell and members of the Kane County Major Crimes Task Force were called to the scene. A post-mortem exam was ordered for Saturday morning. East Dundee police late Saturday released the identity of the victim in a homicide at her home as 85-year-old Mildred (Dodie) Darrington, of the 100 block of Aldis Drive.
