Heavy Haze from Burnt Out Pump at Linden Place Apartment on East Golf Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:06 AM Tuesday to Linden Place Apartments, 700 East Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received an activated alarm. First firefighters in the building reported a heavy haze in an electrical room, and put on self-contained breathing apparatus to investigate.

Additional firefighters were called to the scene. Firefighters in the electrical room discovered the smoke was coming from the building’s fire pump with the situation under control. Extra firefighters were returned by 7:16 a.m.
