Nine people were injured, including a 15-year-old girl, who was critically, Monday evening, May 26, 2014, after a tornado hit Watford City, N.D. At least eight trailers were destroyed Monday evening when the twister tore through a camp where oil field workers lived.

The tornado video is at a close vantage point. Toward the end of the video, bright skies show through the top of the tornado as the camera angle takes an 80-degree plus angle up the rope of the tornado. The tornado touched down about 7:50 p.m. Monday just south of Watford City, about 50 miles southeast of Williston, North Dakota.
