Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE PRECIPITATION TYPE RADAR] shows rain passing west to east in south central Wisconsin.

WINTER STORM WARNING effective 10:00 p.m. Tuesday until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. Snow accumulation forecast is less than this morning’s forecast. Snow accumulation is forecast at 4.6 inches by 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Rain is expected to start about 7:00 p.m., but radar indicates the rain will probably start later. Rain is expected to change to snow about 8:00 p.m., but again that may be delayed by timing and because air temperature is slightly above forecast. Snow probably won’t get going until after 11:00 p.m.

Gusty winds peaking at about 36 MPH from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
