Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE PRECIPITATION TYPE RADAR] is all clear at about 8:56 a.m. Fog and mist is clearing.

The next chance for precipitation is very light rain from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday.

Satellite images show clouds moving in from the west. Clouds are expected to increase at peak at about 7:00 p.m. –followed by clearing to midnight.

Significant weather events include gusty southeast winds 15 MPH from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m., and gusty winds from the west and northwest 17-28 MPH from 5:00 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 58 at about 5:00 p.m. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wind shifting from the south about 4:00 p.m. and gradually shifting from the west and then northwest overnight. Wind gusts are forecast to begin again at about 5:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. 17-28 MPH.

Tonight A 10 percent chance of showers before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. After shifting from south, west northwest wind around 15 mph forecast, with gusts as high as 25-28 mph from 5:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Saturday Partly sunny, with a high near 39. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Gusty winds noon to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Saturday to 4:00 am. Sunday — gradually shifting from North-Northwest.
