Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a crash with multiple vehicles and multiple injuries. One vehicle was also reported to be smoking.
Four ambulances responding with Squad 55 crew, Engine 51 crew and the Battalion Chief.
First paramedics on the scene report three victims possibly requiring Advanced Life Support. Paramedics also request a third ambulance, and then a fourth ambulance. One victim was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital
