Garbage and refuse pickup in Arlington Heights is delayed at least one day because of snow accumulation and extreme cold in Chicagoland. Garbage collection is also delayed in the City of Chicago, Buffalo Grove, Palatine and Schaumburg.

Garbage and recycling collection has been cancelled for January 6, 2014 due to the weather. All garbage and recycling will be collected one day later during the week of January 6, 2014. Please have items at the curb by 6:30 AM for collection. For further information, contact the Environmental Health Division at (847) 359-9090.
The City of Chicago has also delayed garbage pickup up today, Monday, January 6, 2014.
