Arlington Heights Weather Forecast: Cold High About 18; Snow Overnight, Slightly Warmer Thursday

Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE PRECIPITATION TYPE RADAR] is all clear at about 8:00 a.m. About 0.5 inch of snow if forecast for midnight Wednesday/Thursday through about 7:00 a.m. Thursday. Another clipper is expected for the evening rush hour Thursday at about 4:00 p.m. — forecast to drop less than 0.25 inch by 7:00 a.m. Friday.

Snowfall yesterday morning and last night totaled less than 0.25 inch. Snow cover is at 8.5 inches in Arlington Heights.

Satellite images show clouds over the Midwest, but clearing over Chicagoland and Illinois-Wisconsin shoreline of Lake Michigan. Mixed clouds and sun today with clouds increasing about 5:00 p.m. Mostly cloudy through Friday.

Steady temperatures during daylight hours at about 18 degrees, then temperatures are forecast to rise overnight for a high of 31-33 degrees on Thursday.
