Attempted Theft at a Chase Bank ATM on Golf Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:16 PM Monday of an attemped theft at Chase Bank, 43 East Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered the bank vestibule and attempted to pry open the ATM machine. Entry was not gained and the machine remained operable. There is no damage estimate.

The offender was described as a male/white wearing a metallic blue hooded snowmobile suit jacket, faded blue jeans, and white gym shoes.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:15 p.m.

The exact time that police were notified is not confirmed.
