Vehicle Burglary at Prairie Park on South Belmont Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:11 PM Saturday of a vehicle burglary at Prairie Park, 1695 South Belmont Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a white 2008 Chevy Suburban. Offender(s) shattered a rear driver side window and took a Coach handbag that had been left on the floor of the vehicle.

The tan Coach purse was valued at $200. Inside the purse was a black leather credit card wallet valued at $100, and a black cloth wallet valued at $150.

Several credit cards, debit cards, 20 gift cards, and an Illinois driver’s license were reported missing with the credit car wallet.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, October 5, 2013 between 2:05 p.m. and 3:10 p.m.
