Pedestrian Hit By Metra Passenger Train Near Dee Rd. Near Park Ridge

Park Ridge police and firefighter/paramedics received a report about 5:38 p.m. of a pedestrian hit by a train near Dee Road and Busse Highway. The pedestrian was killed, and was apparently hit by an express train between the Dee Road Station and the Park Ridge station.

Outbound Train #631 To Arrive McHenry At 6:02 P.M. – Pedestrian Incident Train #631, scheduled to arrive McHenry at 6:02 p.m., is stopped in the vicinity of Dee Road due to a pedestrian incident. This train is currently 6 minutes behind schedule. Estimated time of delay is unknown. Metra will provide updated information as it becomes available.
