Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE RADAR] is clear at 9:48 a.m. Cloud bands from a low pressure system over South Dakota are heading our way. The outermost band is over north central Illinois. The next band is over western Iowa. Most of Wisconsin is under cloudy conditions.
Clouds are expected to decrease over Arlington Heights and northwest suburbs and increase gradually to mostly cloudy conditions from 9:00 p.m. through about 6:00 a.m. Saturday.
Less than one-quarter inch of rain is expected between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Saturday. A little thunder is possible, too.
