Vehicle Crash Into State Farm Insurance Office on West Wise Rd, Schaumburg

Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:01 AM Thursday to a report of a vehicle crashed into a building 525 West Wise Road Schaumburg, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a vehicle was crashed into a building with a natural gas leak at the building.

Firefighters were able to immediately shut down the gas leak that occurred when the vehicle ruptured a gas line.

Nicor was immediately contacted by police on the scene, and requested to respond to the scene. Schaumburg Building Department inspectors also responded to the scene.

The vehicle was towed out within about one hour of the crash.

No word on any injuries at this time.
