Introduction of Lower Fat, Lower Calorie Satisfries from Burger King Doesn’t Replace Classic Fries

CNN’s Erin Burnett discusses Burger King’s launch of a new line of french fries called Satisfries.

Burger King unveiled Tuesday September 24, 2013 Satisfries — french fries with 30% less fat and 20% fewer calories than Burger King’s current fries. Also 40% less fat and 30% fewer calories than McDonald’s fries.

The small serving of BK’s Satisfries is 270 calories and 11 grams of fat vs. 340 calories and 15 grams of fat for a small serving of its classic fries. Classic fries will remain on the menu.
