Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:01 AM Saturday of a vehicle burglary in the block of 99 South Waterman Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a 2009 Toyota Prius. The owner parked the vehicle, left his vehicle, and returned to the vehicle about 90 minutes later. He found items strewn about inside the car. Also, approximately $90 was taken from his wallet, but the wallet was left in the vehicle.
The vehicle burglary was one of several burglaries in the neighborhood during the time period.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, August 24, 2013 between and 12:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.
