Blue Trek Mountain Bike Thefts, Parked in Front of Dick’s Sporting Goods, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:16 PM Thursday of a bicycle theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods parked outside the front of the store, 401 East Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took an unsecured blue Trek 21-speed mountain bike valued at $200.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday June 27, 2013 between 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Another unsecured bike theft was also reported on Sunday June 30, 2013 that also occurred at the front of Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The bike was also a blue Trek mountain bike. The second bike was valued at $500.
