Farmers’ Markets Open in Arlington Heights and Schaumburg

Arlington Heights Farmers’ Market starts Saturday, June 8, 2013 and will be held every Saturday morning (7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) in Commuter Lot S at the corner of Vail & Fremont — directly across from the Museum and just west of the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, Fresh fruit, vegetables, honey, cherries, apples, strawberries, and other treats are available throughout the Summer and Fall seasons (June 8, 2013 through October 12, 2013).

Schaumburg Farmers Market opened today, Friday, June 7, 2013 and will be held through Friday, October 25, 2013.

Locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, flowers, plants, and gourmet cheeses are sold by the farmers that produce them.

The market also features decadent pastries, baked goods, olives, spices, home made pasta, fresh roasted coffee, tea, honey, salsa, pesto sauces, pickles, and knife sharpening services. The family friendly activity offers freshly squeezed lemonade, kettle corn, snow cones, and crepes made on site.

Schaumburg Farmers Market is open 7:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. at 190 South Roselle Road
