KFOR-TV News crews discover “war zone” conditions and damage school building immediately after a tornado struck Moore, Oklahoma.

The Moore, OK 2013 tornado touched down at 2:56 p.m. CDT Monday May 20, 2013 and remained on the ground for approximately 40 minutes — traveling a 20-mile long path and up to two miles wide at its peak.

As of about 7:00 p.m. CDT there were 24 school children reported killed in Plaza Towers Elementary School, and that the total death toll is at 37. Officials warn that the death count is expected to rise. On Tuesday morning the death toll was 91 with the number of children killed at Plaza Towers Elementary School unconformed.

As of 7:00 p.m. Monday OU Medical Center had at least 60 injured school children, and another 25 injured adults.
