Police Find Man Wanted for Des Plaines Aggravated Assault at House Near Evergreen Avenue and White Oak Street, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 7:01 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2013 to assist Des Plaines Police Department 100 East White Oak Street Arlington Heights, IL. Des Plaines police sought help from Arlington Heights police to help locate a suspect of an aggravated assault. The suspect was believed to be at a house in the 100 block of East White Oak Street. He apparently called the victim from a pay phone on South Arlington Heights Road, so police believed he was in the area.

Police arrived to find an open front door at the house on White Oak Street. Arlington Heights police detectives and Des Plaines police also responded to the scene. Uniformed police reported a car running inside the garage.

Police had a subject in custody by about 7:26 p.m. He was apparently transported by Des Plaines police to Des Plaines Police Department Headquarters.
