Heavy Rain Mostly Northwest of Cook County and Dupage County; Warm Front Still In South-Central Illinois

#ad▼

The warm front is not progressing northward as expected. Joliet is in the low 50s and Naperville is in the mid-40’s. Those areas were expected to be in the 60s by now, but the nearest temperature in the 60s is at Paxton and Rantoul, just north of Champaign and Urbana. The warm front is still in South Central lllinois.

Most of the heavy rain is skimming by to the northwest of DuPage County and Cook County.

Heavy rain could still hit hard tonight and tomorrow, but the northwest suburbs of Cook County are getting some rain breaks this afternoon.
