McHenry police spotted a suspect’s SUV about 1:26 AM Saturday and reported a pursuit of 60 to 70 mph starting near Route 47 and Conley Rd Huntley, IL. Crystal Lake earlier reported that one of their police squads was hit by the driver of a white Jeep Cherokee. The driver, described as a male/white subject, was wanted for fleeing and eluding and possibly other charges. Minutes later, a McHenry police officer (unknown if city or county) reported a pursuit starting about Route 47 and Conley Road. Some of the pursuit update positions are reported below:

1:29:36 AM Route 47 and Lucas Rd (70 MPH)
1:30:33 AM Route 47 and Cobblestone
1:31:15 AM Route 47 and Northwest Highway
1:31:38 AM EB Route 14 from Route 47
1:31:59 AM EB Route 14 at Lake Avenue
1:32:38 AM EB Route 14 at Lake Shore Dr
1:42:26 AM SB Route 31 at Klasen
1:43:24 AM SB Route 31 at Route 62
Carpentersville picked up the pursuit at about 1:47:55 AM
1:49:34 AM SB Route 31 at Route 72
Spike sticks were dropped in the area Route 31 south of Route 62. The McHenry police officer reported seeing debris coming from under the SUV after the Jeep Cherokee was driven over the spike strip.
1:50:59 AM Left front tire gone after striking stop sticks spike sticks.
Elgin PD reported following the vehicle about 1:52:45 AM
1:56:05 AM Elgin police reported the subject in the white Jeep Cherokee drove to Elgin Police Department Headquarters and was in custody with Elgin poilce.
