Fire in A Fryer at Redmoon on South Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:44 AM Tuesday to an activated fire alarm at Redmoon, 70 South Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Firefighters also received a report of an activated fire alarm at Athletico next-door about one minute later.

Firefighters arrived and reported nothing showing outside, but once inside they reported what appeared to be cooking smoke inside.

Firefighters discovered the fire was contained to a fryer. Firefighters used one or two dry chem extinguishers to quickly stop the fire and smoke.

Firefighters ventilated the building and checked the roof.

Mount Prospect firefighters assisted Arlington Heights firefighters on the scene.
