Basement Fire Causes Heavy Damage To Home On Windsor Ln, Inverness

Palatine Rural firefighter/paramedics and Inverness police responded about 9:03 PM Friday to a house fire in the block of 300 Windsor Lane Inverness, IL. Residents called 9-1-1 about 4:50 p.m. when they arrived home and found smoke in the house. The basement walls were charred and contents in the basement were destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Firefighters from Barrington, Hoffman Estates, Buffalo Grove, East Dundee, Fox River Grove, Long Grove, Prospect Heights. Rolling Meadows, Schaumburg, and West Dundee assisted Palatine and Palatine Rural District firefighters.
