Residential Burglary Update: Lawn Mower and Snow Blower Taken from Shed on North Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 4:27 PM Friday of a residential burglary in the 900 block of North Arlington Heights Road. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed a lawn mower and a snow blower from an unsecured, detached shed.

Reported stolen was a red Toro lawn mower, valued at $300, and a Toro snow blower, valued at $600.

The homeowner first noticed part of a wire fence was bent out shape. An unsecured padlock, which had been left unlocked on the shed, was also found on the ground.

The crime is reported to have occurred sometime between Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. and Friday, January 11, 2013 at 4:25 p.m.
