Purse Theft From Shopping Cart Reported At Mariano’s on East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights


Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:26 AM Wednesday a purse theft at Mariano’s, 802 E. Northwest Highway. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed the victim’s purse which was in the shopping cart. She realized the purse was missing as she was exiting the store. The purse contained $50 cash, a driver’s license, several credit/debit cards and a Samsung cell phone. The value of all the items is approximately $300.

The crime is reported to have occurred between noon and 1:00 p.m.
