Melanie McDonald: A northern Indiana hospital has fired eight employees who refused to get flu shots under a new policy intended to protect patients from the potentially deadly illness.
Goshen Hospital in Goshen, Indiana instituted the the mandatory flu policy in September, 2012.
Some believe the vaccine is a toxin with some side effects, and no guarantee that the Flu Vaccine works. Some, who opposed it for religious reason, were not fired.
