Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:26 AM Saturday of theft of gas from the Speedway at Arlington Heights Road and Palatine Road. Police received a report that an offender driving a black 2011 BMW SUV drove off without paying for gas. The vehicle was last seen westbound on Palatine Road. Police are checking license registration and notified area police departments to be on the lookout for the vehicle.
The offender is reported to have taken $75 worth of gasoline.
