Servpro of Arlington Heights just completed its 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for the needy families in Arlington Heights. The owners of Servpro of Arlington Heights, Joe and Janet Coriaci, and their staff are thankful for everyone who donated items to the food drive in order to help make Thanksgiving Day a bright day, so that those in need will be able enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The amount of food collected this year increased significantly from last year – besides making a couple of separate trips with a large SUV, Servpro actually filled an entire large box truck with food. The Servpro truck is large enough to pack contents from a person’s entire home in their large box truck.

Each canned good and non-perishable item is very much appreciated. Servpro of Arlington Heights would like to especially thank the following individuals and businesses for their cooperation and support: Carol Jancek at The Village of Arlington Heights for helping to coordinate the food drive, and for getting the word out and helping with collecting food, Michael Love and his great staff at Chase Bank (downtown Arlington Heights and other participating branches), Taki and his staff at Egg Harbor Café, Pastor Tom and his staff and congregation at Faith Lutheran Church, Vicky Leahy and The Shepherd’s Flock Preschool (where the kids actually delivered the food), Westgate, Dryden, and Ivy Hill Elementary Schools, (which all collected a huge abundance of food), Dan Cuthbert’s State Farm office, Megan Sieberg and Hancock Square Apartments, and all of the businesses in Arlington Heights that posted a flyer and spread the word.

According to Servpro of Arlington Heights, the food drive has turned out much bigger and better than they ever could have imagined. The company is already look forward to a repeat for next year.
