Mount Prospect police responded about 7:17 PM Sunday residential burglary attempt that just occurred in the 300 block of North Prospect Manor. Police received a report that a resident was in the house when an unknown subject opened the screen door and the inside door and then left.
Police arrived to search the neighborhood and noticed a Comcast truck in the street. No word on whether the Comcast employee went to the wrong house or if there was some suspicious activity.
Police re-classified the case as a suspicious incident.
