Hit-and-Run Property Damage Vehicle Flees Scene After Hitting Flower Box on Thomas St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 10:45 AM Wednesday of a hit-and-run incident in the 500 block of West Thomas Street. Witnesses reported that a car left the roadway and hit a flower box in front of a residence, and fled the scene. Police received a report that the offending vehicle was a red vehicle with a spoiler — occupied by three teenagers. A witness spotted the offending vehicle dropping off one of the passengers in the 1200 block of North Walnut Avenue, before driving away. The license on the vehicle was reported to police, and police are investigating the license information.
