A girl sticks her head out of a train window — encouraged by friends — just before another train coming the other direction speeds past the train. The girls ducks back into the train car — diving onto the floor in a reflex reaction.
At first there is laughter, but then she is visibly shaken when reality strikes, “Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God.”
The oncoming train was likely too far to actually causes a collision, but there is always the risk something unusual could be projecting out of the side of the oncoming train or a post or other object could be between the railroad tracks.
Recently a man was killed when he stuck his head out of a roof hatch of a bus and struck the top edge of a tunnel.
