Criminal Damage to Vehicle: Bike vs Car Road Rage at Arlington Heights Rd and Suffield Dr, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 7:34 PM Saturday to a report of criminal damage to vehicle that “just occurred” near the intersection of Arlington Heights Road and Suffield Drive. Police received a report that an offender swung his backpack at a blue 2003 Honda CR-V and shattered the rear passenger side hatchback window.

The victim/driver of the Honda pulled forward without seeing the offender and blocked his path. The offender appeared to strike the vehicle out of anger.

The male offender was wearing a black baseball cap while riding a white bicycle.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, October 12, 2012 at 7:34 p.m.
