Schaumburg police responded about 11:05 AM Thursday to a report of a battery at Higgins Road and Meacham Road. Police received a report that a man was walking when a teen on a mountain bike punched him in the face. The victim was walking on Meacham Road toward Higgins Road.
The male/white offender was last seen near Beckett Lane, and was reported to be 17-years-old, have blond hair and to have been wearing a white shirt and white wind breaker jacket and black shorts. The offender was last seen westbound on Beckett Lane.
The victim refused an ambulance and waited for police at Meacham and Beckett Lane.
