#ad▼

Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:24 AM Saturday to an industrial incident in the 1400 block of Pratt Boulevard. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a man was trapped in a machine. A language barrier caused some difficulty in getting the proper information. The caller did not answer call backs from Northwest Central Dispatch System telecommunicator(s).

No word on the condition of the victim, who was apparently transported to a local hospital.

Police were investigating with an evidence technician, and were reporting the incident to OSHA.
