Firefighters Extinguish Attic Fire on White Pine in Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:18 PM Thursday to a house fire in the 600 block of White Pine. Firefighters/paramedics and police reported smoke showing upon arrival. Firefighters reported smoke was showing from the roof line. After searching the home and putting water on the fire, firefighter/paramedics reported the fire was out at about 7:47 p.m.

An injured pet was transported a local animal clinic.

No report of any people injured.

Firefighters from Arlington Heights, Lincolnshire/Riverwoods, Palatine and Prospect Heights assisted Buffalo Grove firefighters.
