Attempted Vehicle Burglary Foiled by Barking Dog on East Grove St, Arlington Heights


Arlington Heights police responded about 10:57 PM Thursday of a suspicious incident/attempted burglary in the 2200 block of East Grove Street. Police received a report that two subjects were attempting to break in to the owner’s work van.

The offender’s were apparently scared off by a barking dog. They were described as male/Hispanic juveniles wearing baseball caps, and were last seen heading through backyards.
