Wellington Restaurant, open since 1983 at 2121 South Arlington Heights Road, closed permanently on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. The 20,000-square-foot included a main banquet room that sat 250 people. A restaurant dining room sat up to 250 people. Several smaller banquet rooms sat 70 people each.
The facility was a common venue for Village of Arlington Heights retirement parties, and was home meeting place for the Arlington Heights Rotary Club.
