Suspicious in Arlington Hts, Palatine: Police Looking for Man with Black Curly Wig, Lime-Green Costume

UPDATE: In Custody. Cook County Sheriff’s deputies discovered the subject and transferred him to the custody of the Arlington Heights Police Department.

Arlington Heights police responded about 12:04 PM Tuesday to a report of a suspicious incident at a doctor’s office in the 3800 block of North Wilke Road. Also, Palatine police received a report that a man with a similar description entered a bank in Palatine and requested to close out an account. He got into a verbal argument with bank employees and left the bank. The man was driving a red Jeep and was wearing a curly black wig and a yellow-lime green costume. Later he was seen at a doctor’s office in the 3800 block of North Wilke. He said he was there to make an appointment, and instead left the office after placing a box under the counter.

Arlington Heights police responded immediately to the doctor’s office, and Palatine police responded immediately to the bank.

Area police departments checked the license registration of the red Jeep and are investigating and searching the subject.
