Buffalo Grove police responded about 6:48 AM Friday to a residential burglary “in progress” on Wakefield near Highland Grove. Police received a report that a male subject entered a window at the back of the house, exited a back door of the house and re-entered.
The subject was described as a male/white in his 20’s, dark hair, wearing black shorts and a black hat. A similar incident was reported last night, possibly involving an ex-boyfriend.
Buffalo Grove police searched the home and had one suspect in custody by 6:58 a.m.
