Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:43:53 AM Monday of a motor vehicle parts theft at Arlington Heights Ford, 801 West Dundee Road. Police received a report that wheel and tires were removed from a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck overnight. The vehicle was parked in the northwest corner of a used car lot.
Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed two driver side wheels from a blue 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The wheels and tires are described as: Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires mounted on black/brushed steel rims valued at $2,500.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 10:00 p.m. and Monday, July 16, 2012 at 4:00 a.m.
