Three Juveniles Arrested for Firing Airsoft Guns Near Weiland and Armstrong, Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police responded about 8:18 p.m. Sunday to a report of man with a gun at Weiland and Armstrong. Police received a report that three juveniles were standing in the field on the west side of Weiland at the south end of the retention pond, and about one block north of Lake Cook Road. Among the three juveniles, a male wearing a white T-shirt appeared to have a gun that was pointed into the field.

Buffalo Grove police officers located the subjects within three minutes and found three air soft bb guns on the ground. The subjects admitted to shooting the guns and were placed under arrest for firing a weapon in the Village. The three juveniles were released to their parents.
