Soccer Ref Choked at Soccer Game at Olympic Park, Schaumburg

Schaumburg police responded about 6:36 p.m. Saturday to a report of a battery at Olympic Park, 1675 Old Schaumburg Road. Police received a report that soccer referee was choked over a call he made. The offender was described as maroon pants and a white shirt. He left the park in a gray F-150 pickup truck.

Paramedics were also on the scene for a softball player that was hit in the head with a ball.
