Man Found Bleeding in South Stairwell of Parking Garage Near Evergreen Ave and Sigwalt St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to a report of an injured man in the stairwell connecting the lower level parking garage to the courtyard east of Arlington Theater in the 0-99 block South Evergreen Avenue. Police received a report that a man in his 40’s with gray hair and yellow socks was semi-conscious with a knife next to him. Police arrived within two minutes and found a man bleeding from the wrist.

The man was transported to the hospital with police following the rescue-ambulance. The stairwell is blocked off for investigation and biohazard cleanup.
