Impaired Driver on Rand Road Had Injured Hand, Not DUI?

Palatine police stopped a suspected DUI driver about 2:00 a.m. near Route 12 and Lake Cook Road. Police received a report from the Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network that an apparent intoxicated or impaired driver was heading northwest on Route 12 after exiting northbound Route 53. Police discovered the driver, stopped the driver near Lake Cook Road and Rand Road, and discovered he had an injured hand. No word on charges for DUI.
