Armed Robbery with a Rifle at Sutton and Schaumburg Rd, Streamwood

Streamwood police responded about 1:10 a.m. Sunday to an armed robbery at the Mobil gas station at Sutton Road and Schaumburg Road.

The suspect was described as a male/white about 17-years-old, 5’9″ 150 LBS wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up, a red bandana on his face, black pants. The suspect was last seen westbound on Schaumburg Road toward a wooded area carrying a rifle.

The crime scene is just west of Streamwood High School. A mutual aid ILEAS police response was set up in the area. No word aon any contact or arrest of a suspect.
