Power Outage, Hydrant Flushing Cause Minor Trouble in the Lively Blvd and Greenleaf Area of Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:45 p.m. Saturday to numerous alarms and traffic problems related to a power outage in the area of Lively Boulevard and Greenleaf Avenue.

Hydrant flushing also caused water pressure fluctuations in the area that set off fire alarms and water flow fire alarms.
