Buffalo Grove police received a report of identity theft Thursday, April 12, 2012 that occurred to a victim in the 100 block of Copperwood Drive. The crimes are reported to have occurred between July 2012 and April 2012.
Police received a report that someone has been using a resident’s social security number and driver’s license number to open several accounts with a bank. The bank has since closed the accounts and the resident was advised to contact the credit reporting agencies to initiate a fraud alert on her identity.
