Rolling Meadows police received a report about 5:15 PM of a hit-and-run crash with no injuries at new Wilke and Algonquin Road. Police received a report that a white minivan struck another vehicle. The minivan should have gray paint transfer with right rear damage.
The driver was report to be a female/Hispanic. The white minivan was last seen fleeing eastbound on Algonquin Road from the scene. Police were checking license plate registration on the offending vehicle.
The driver was arrested and in custody by about 7:52 p.m. Wednesday.
