Hit-and-Run Car vs. House on South Benton St, Palatine

Palatine police responded about 1:44 a.m. Thursday to a report of a hit-and-run car vs. house in the 500 block of South Benton. Police received a report that a small Honda fled northbound Benton after crashing into a house, and then headed westbound on Glade. Police had the vehicle stopped at Benton Street and Helen Road by 1:45 a.m. Thursday. Police immediately called for firefighter/paramedics to respond to the intersection of Benton Street and Helen Road.

Firefighters also responded to the scene of the crash in the 500 block of South Benton Street to check the house for structural damage. No word on injuries to occupant(s) of the vehicle.
